During my trip to New York I posted a lot, talked about what I was doing, and constantly had 100 second snap stories. I saw a showing of The Late Show, shopped on 5th, and crossed seeing Wicked on Broadway off my bucket list. However, the second I got back I was constantly asked '...how was the rainbow bagel?' This bagel quickly became the most talked about part of my trip.
As much as this shocked me, it was well deserved. I knew that since I had seen The Bagel Store featured on Business Insider, I knew that I wanted to visit. These rainbow bagels are even more vibrant and beautiful in person.
When it finally became time for my bagel, I opted for Funfetti Cream Cheese. If any of you know me, I love sprinkles and anything rainbow so I knew this was the option for me. Other varieties also stood out to me including sweet options included cannoli, maple walnut, + Nutella, as well as savory options like sun-dried tomato, spinach artichoke, + chipotle. Typically I always opt for savory but the rainbow bagels have sweet undertone so I was happy to go with sweet.
Overall I felt the rainbow bagels were rather dense and I wished they served toasted. The beautiful colors also came with quite a hefty price tag of about $6.50 with specialty cream cheese. Although expensive, it was an experience to have such a beautiful bagel.
